Job Description

Kelly Services is looking for an Assistant Advertising Coordinator at a Non-Profit located in Downtown Norfolk. The ideal candidate has a passion for animals, is creative, and has the ability to obtain paid placement advertisements for billboards, print media, TV, radio, online and social media sites.

Primary Responsibilites:

  • Develop and implement strategies for generating ad placements

  • Develop and maintain relationships with sales representatives to negotiate reduced-rate placements

  • Develop and maintain all records of ad placements

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor



  • Degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the advertising industry

  • Demonstrated knowledge of animal rights issues

  • Proven project management skills

  • Strategic Thinking and Analytical Skills

  • Proven exceptional communication skills

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with a consistent pattern of proactively suggesting solutions

  • Commitment to the objectives of the organization
